The concept of a Jericho Ride comes from Joshua 6: 1-27, when Joshua and the Israelite brought down a Canaan’s fort called Jericho by following God’ instruction to walking around it for seven days. A fort considered to be a stronghold that stood in the way of the Israelite’s occupying the promise land. We have our part to do because “Faith without works is dead.

What is a Jericho Ride you might ask?
Demotic strongholds are forts set-up by Satan and his angels in the world to carryout evil using people. We suffer from them in our society in the form of organized corporate greed, violent crime, harmful drug dealing on any level, racism, violent wars, and the identity crises we are experiencing in our nation. Evil that hinders the positive healthy growth of humanity which is not of God. Satan is the core source of evil while Jesus is the core source of God’ love offered to mankind, but mostly we get it wrong as many wars against each other. “We parish for a lack of knowledge, of God’ ways of warfare introduce in this program” God says, Ephesians 6; 12 tells us that “We struggle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the dark world, against spiritual weakness in high places.” Beliefs systems formed in our minds, based on what we know. John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” “I (Jesus) came to let us know that we may have life and have it abundantly.”

Followers of Jesus are ONE in His Body as Romans 12:4-5 says, “For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” We are one family as sisters and brothers in Christ regardless of race, tongue, or denomination if God’ word is obeyed. Where Demotic strongholds exist, we should act as one body, spiritually to bind them, so division in the body of Christ is not of God, but Satan that divide us to bring about the defeat of need to be corrected for the purpose of our salvation to truly served out in a community, city, and nation. God is not about confusion. We seek to correct this in our spiritual quest.

Community transformation is possible when we get enough of evil in our communities to ask the Holy Spirit to come to town with our fervent prayer. Joshua had to seek God' face and trust Him to walk around Jerichoas instructed to bring down the demotic spirit that resided there. I ask you trust Jesus to do the same today for our communities, especially urban communities that suffer the most from demotic strongholds. Our God is the same yesterday as today which is God that has the world in His hand while Jesus has the world under his foot. Evidence of transformed communities exist during our time on YouTube under documentary “Transformation”1 &2” which proves the Holy Spirit will come when asked.

Many seek Jesus in church or other god for power in their situation. I did when I heard a pastor preach "The power in us is greater than the power in the world; I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me,” so I set out to experience the power of Jesus. We hear about the power that came over many believers in scripture, which is not visible in God’ church, today, so the "great fallaway” in Matthew 24: 10 has taken place due to many being disappointed. Church leads has failed to walk by faith, trusting Jesus to show up spiritual to address our problems in communities they shepherd. Prayer is the only power source carried as a power source in God’ church.
It is written “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much,” James 4: 2-4. So why aren’t we getting God’ attention when many have prayed? The definition of fervent is passionate prayer offered up due to loving others. it is written in Matthew 24:12. “Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Some lack empathy, some pray with wrong motives, and some lack faith to move on answered prayer. Prayer has become a ritual in most churches. We need those feeling the pain of lost, and those with empathy for others to offer up prayer to Jesus for the transformation of our community.
Binding is another source of power given to us by the authority of Jesus. Binding with God’ word and with a Jericho Ride can transform community and transform us when we experience the effect. It is written in Matthew 18: 18, ““Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.” This is preached but not practiced by many believers because it requires trusting Jesus in action. Most of the time we leave God’ church and leave God’ word there. Often believers are too intimidated to use God’ word to address evil matter in the world. God says, His word does not go out and return void, but cuts to the moral of the bone, “so Jesus binds after we carry out our faithful walk of trust in Him. Our lack of faith will loosen the problem to continue because God will not cross our free will but gets our permission.
A Jericho Ride binds demotic strongholds so we can be effect in carrying out God; wishes. We take back that territory for Jesus like Joshua took it back as part of the Promise Land. We can also walk out our territory, “Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee,” as Genesis 13: 17 says. The passive church are churches that do not act out their faith so communities, nations suffer from the evil that takes over.
